Loren Coleman has never seen a lake monster or a Bigfoot, but he has devoted his life to cryptozoology. Here David Albaugh interviews Loren about the spark that fired his passion for the subject, the investigations he has conducted, the books he has written, and of course the museum he founded in 2003, International Cryptozoology Museum in Portland, Maine. Loren also wrote the Foreword to the Anomalist Books reprint of Peter Costello’s In Search of Lake Monsters, which has now been reviewed by Ulrich Magin on the Kryptozoologie Network. Writes Magin: “Peter Costello’s book In Search Of Lake Monsters is an absolute classic…Bernard Heuvelmans was so impressed by the work of the then young Costello that he…wrote the foreword to Costello’s book…The word classic is often used in advertising and also by ideological friends, especially on controversial topics, but this book is a real classic, still the only comprehensive book about sea monsters from all over the world…” (PH)
